Hello!
I was working my ass of past few months.
I quit my job in TV company to start a career as a cgi artist with emphasis on character design.

Little about DinoMonsters©
They are group of characters called DinoMonsters©.
They are mutants, half man half dinosaurs.
Currently I'm looking for a publisher that can push this concept to a new level.
I'm trying to make them into a comic book/character art book/toy, and what not, and push this thing further. I've developed whole story behind these characters and as I write this post I'm finishing on sketching out the very first episode.
I have wrote six connected stories about how they became what they are, and further on how they formed DinoMonster© team and so fort.
It will be a genuine superhero comic book or graphic novel.

Also, I'm using DinoMonsters© to showcase my skills, and to try and get some commissioned work my ways, since I'm unemployed!! Looking for freelance!

This image was done for inspiring Rebecca Kimel's workshop Unusual pets and their unusual owners. thx becka!
As soon as I saw the title of the workshop this image was born in my head, an old lady with a huge spider.
Software used: Zbrush, photoshop.

Really short story behind the image:
She was an old Knitter living beneath mountains of Amdo, one of Tibetan northeast regions.
She lived lonely life on the outskirts of a small village in which all people thought she was a witch.
Indeed, this old lady wasn't ordinary by many standards, one in particular, her calling.
She made here living by producing rare red silk known by the name Arakna.
Nothing unusual with that at first glance one would say, but, those who knew her better, knew where she got that silk from.
She kept few giant spiders in her manor as her pets, whose webbing, if properly refined, could produce this though shiny rare material.
In this image we see her absently gazing ahead, while holding one of her nasty pets.

Here's the final image.
At the very beginning, I wasn't clear what I want, but I knew it has to have Chinese crested dog in it.
So here it is, my interpretation of a character, marrying my 2d and 3d skills the best I could.

Hi everyone!

I all ways wanted to make my own Hulk attempt, cos I really like that character, so here it is.

I hope you will be enjoying this image as I did enjoy while making it.
I didn't wanted to just pose Hulk, but I wanted to set him into environment, creating image that can portrait Hulk, and what he's all about, his everlasting confrontation with military and his immense brute power.

Image was composed out of number of photos from my library and something from net.
Only actual 3d is Hulk, which was modeled in Zbrush, and rendered there.

I was not sure which category this belongs to, but, my goal was Hulk, and he is 3d, so hope I'm not in the wrong place.

It could easily be a tiger of late Cretaceous, Carnotaurus Sastrei.

Evaporation of humidity and the rain that fell on it's back is caused by the body heath.
Big prehistoric forest areas have very unstable weather, and are constantly watered.

I don't like to think of dinosaurs as cold blooded,slowly moving excuses for living beings, instead, In my mind, they are agile, fast, active warmblooded animals.

Such is this Carnotaurus, who stopped briefly to listen around, before moving on trough thick vegetation of this prehistoric jungle.

This image was painted in photoshop during last two days, on and off. I was highly motivated doing this painting.
My girlfirend,interessed in this particular painting also came in with some of the ideas for this concept, she was learning for exams, and from time to time she would take a break from her books and helped me out by suggestions.
Because of that I had even more fun, cos she actually is not an SF fan at all, so I was thrilled my character got her attention.

I really enjoy character design, it is one of my dreams, to work as character designer.

The character flowed from my mind to my screen pretty easy, I drew sketch quite fast, without any big effort.
Hard part was to render it to look organic, and somewhat real.

I used my photographed forhead as starting point for everything else considering shading and coloring and making it look believable.
And that was pretty much it, then I had to sit down and burn my fingers and wrist to manifest my vision.
Enough talk, I posted some of closeups, and sketch, and crop of photo I took.

I dont know how many times have I seen it (stoped counting).
Last time I saw it and something snaped in my head (guess it is called inspiration), so I started this piece which was in my mind for long time.
This painting represents my blend version of human-mantis, as I called it MANtis, species.I admire mantis insects, they look so unearthly,inteligent and alien-like.

Hi.
I was going trough a book about insects in one of local
Libraries, and saw mircoscopic 3D image of a micro organism/
micro-animal
That inspired me to make this image.

This is a micro Pokemon actually.

I never really liked Pokemon characters and the whole concept, but what I found fascinating is, how many diferent pokemon there was(wiki says 493). just like countless numbers of real microorganism's.
So I decided to add to that number

Hi people!

This is something I did recently,I never made any fantasy themed images(elfs,wizards,knights,warriors), so I decided to make something cos I like fantasy aswell.

It is about elf that had showered under watterfall,and got
suprised by this big winged monster creature,and
she is (in this exact moment in image)executing somekind magic that materialises sword in her right arm.

Im working with lots of layers,i find it easier and gives a biger control over painting.

This was painted in photoshop cs.
I used elephant texture,also created brushes from it for this piece.
Elf is slightly inspired by my girl.
The composition was decided trough the making of this painting,
I ended up with black border on top and bottom of the image,
Dont know why,but without it,image just doesn't feel right.

Anyway,hope you like it.

Created for Master and servant challenge.
The image illustrates culminating event in which
we see slaves attacking master,who trigered entire
situation by brutaly killing one of them.
I positioned theese two calm passive characters
(killed son,and crying father)in lower front and behind them dynamic active group rising up.The elements are set with in piramydal composition,both front characters,and group in background.
I tryed to use darker earthlike colors.

Wonder if anyone seen National Geographic documentary about two male lions that dominated on certain area.This scene is inspired by that episode.Models represent two Carnotaur's.They belong to meat eaters,as the appearance speak for it self.
The dinosaur model was made in simple box modeling,and textured(which im still learning)in Photoshop.
Environment was delievered with opacity masks in few layers.Dust is added later in photoshop.
Hope you fine people like my dinosaur modeling,since I enjoy doing them.
Feel free to giv crit,or simply share an opinion.
